Learn the joy of riding a horse, horsemanship and experience life on a ranch in the foothills of Mount Diablo.  Our program includes an environment for young people (and adults) who love horses to improve their riding skills in the arena and on the trail.
Rein in family fun at our picturesque horse ranch and equestrian center in Walnut Creek, California. Castle Rock Arabians primarily provides horse riding lessons  and horse camps for kids, we also provide birthday party packages, and scout badge sessions services to make our 20-stall horse ranch and equestrian center truly magical for children. Additionally, we offer horse summer camps—call us for more details. Our location at the base of Mount Diablo means we have a vast number of trails for you and your son or daughter to trek while riding any of our fine horses! Above Makenna Howell on Golden Veil takes her weekly lesson from David Ventura.  While David is well qualified to teach high level Classical Dressage, he finds time to bring along beginners in order to give them a good foundation.  David has received his USDF bronze and silver medals. For five years in a row, he has ranked for USDF Horse of the year. He is also a Big R judge. David teaches on Thursdays and Saturdays here at Castle Rock Arabians.

Our Birthday Parties are the best! Safe and Fun for all!

Our horses and ponies are always ready to party! This birthday girl shared her riding fun with 5 other friends.  They played games on horseback and learned to trot! After riding they celebrated with cake and ice cream--and presents for the birthday girl.
